Hi I’m Grace, founder of Grace’s Sitters which I run alongside being a management consultant. I started Grace’s Sitters in July 2016 and I love that it has been so well received by the Marlow community! I have 14 years babysitting experience and I really enjoy getting to know different families in and around Marlow. Growing up in Marlow, I attended Danesfield School and Sir William Borlase. Hi, I’m Thea! I graduated university last year and currently work freelance in the film and television industry. I have lots of experience looking after children of all different ages, including growing up with 2 younger sisters! I have previously worked as a swimming teacher for children under 10 and also spent many years working with Sportsable, a Maidenhead based sports charity for children and adults with disabilities. I enjoy cooking, running, lake swimming and love animals; so once homework is completed I will always make sure the children are entertained. I’m enthusiastic, reliable and really looking forward to meeting you and your family.

Hi! I’m Scarlett. I am currently studying at Royal Holloway University, studying English and Creative Writing. Prior to this, I did a gap year where I worked at a secondary school, did lots of dog and babysitting as well as travelled for about a month. I also have A-Levels in English, Sport and Business. Alongside university, I do English tutoring, so I am more than happy to help your kids out with their school work. I pride myself on being friendly, energetic and responsible, and in my spare time I enjoy doing gymnastics, running and writing. I have been babysitting for several years now looking after children of all ages, I also have young kids in my family who I have spent lots of time with. I have also owned dogs in the past and have volunteered at my local dog rescue, so I am very comfortable with pets.

Hi I’m Kitty. I am a recent graduate from London Contemporary Dance School, and I started babysitting with Grace’s Sitters in 2019. While a student in London, I worked in a nursery and as a play facilitator at adventure playgrounds, both of which I enjoyed immensely. As a professional dancer, I have performed in touring children’s productions, ran large-scale dance workshops and facilitated Dancing Mindfulness after school clubs across London. I am also an artist and a writer as well as currently completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher training. I studied Maths and English up to A-level so am happy to help with homework. Most importantly, I will bring a fun, kind and creative energy to your family!

Having previously worked for Grace’s Sitters whilst attending SWBGS, I am now hoping to do a bit more babysitting to grow the money pot as I save up to go travelling in SE Asia in 2024 – something I have always wanted to do! Having previously babysat, I understand not just the safeguarding needs but also how important it is that the child is happy (even if it includes doing homework!). Hi I’m Milly and I’m currently between legal studies before I start a training contract with a commercial law firm in London. Before this, I studied at Durham University for an undergraduate degree in English Literature. During my school and university years, I have been one of Grace’s Sitters and I have enjoyed meeting more and more families. Through my role as Head Girl at Borlase, academic mentoring, and volunteering programmes abroad, I’ve always held an active interest in helping younger students. I love spending time with children whether that be to watch films with, play with, help with reading or school work, or participate in any other activity that they love!

Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m currently on my second gap year with aim to one day attend drama school in London. I enjoy performing and figure skating, so I have lots of creativity and the ability to think on my feet. Some of my other hobbies include reading, baking and watching films. I have experience working with children between 5 months and 10 years as I volunteered for 5 years at Brownies (ages 6 to 10), as well as working at nurseries and playgroups (5 months to 5 years). I’ve also babysat neighbours’ children and pets including dogs, cats and guinea pigs and we always have lots of fun. I’m very much looking forward to meeting you and your family!

Hi, I’m Eva! I have recently finished my A-Levels at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School. I am about to start my gap year where I hope to travel and coach tennis before starting at the University of Manchester next year! In my free time I love to play sport, especially tennis which I have played since I the age of four. I now coach a group of 4-7 year olds every week at Maidenhead Tennis Club. I really enjoy engaging with the kids and helping them improve each week is very rewarding. I have babysat for numerous families and I am more than happy to entertain your children however they wish, as well as help them with their homework. Hi, I’m Cleo. I have recently graduated from the University of Nottingham after completing a Bachelor’s in Criminology and Social Policy (July 2022) and a Masters in Psychology (Sept 2023). Prior to university, I attended Wycombe High School studying A- Levels in English, Politics and Geography and before that I went to Danesfield School. I have many years of experience babysitting and looking after children of all ages. Whilst at Wycombe High, I volunteered at Hamilton Primary School as a support teacher, helping children with their school work. I am also a rowing coach at Marlow Rowing Club, teaching children aged 11-17 to row in the school holidays. In my spare time, I row at Upper Thames Rowing Club, enjoy walking my dog Boris and spending time with family and friends. I have 4 younger siblings so I’m no stranger to a busy household and I often babysit the youngest two who are currently 2 and 4. Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m currently finishing my master’s degree in Law at the University of Portsmouth, following my completion of a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Recently, I’ve taken on a new role as a Teaching Assistant, where I’m assisting children in KS3 and KS4 who have SEMH needs. I also bring previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school and have been actively involved in various volunteer positions working with children, including serving as a leader at the Rainbows Girlguiding Group. Beyond my professional and volunteer work, I have a passion for fitness and enjoy taking my dog for walks, so I’d be more than happy to help care for your pets as well. Additionally, I’d be happy to help with any homework, engage in reading activities, and create enjoyable games for your children. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Hi i’m Ella! I graduated from university with a Law degree back in July 2023 which led me on to spending four weeks in Bali volunteering at nurseries and schools looking after children as young as 6 months! I am soon to join the police as a police constable. I have lots of experience when it comes to working with children, I was a junior parties and holiday camp leader at the Wycombe Leisure Centre, as well as having to assisted teaching dance lessons there too to both junior and senior classes. I also used to help out at Sunshine’s Montessori. I am one of five girls, the second oldest, so I have always been surrounded by younger children for as long I remember! Not to mention the babysitting I did for all of my mums friends children too!!
I am a very hard working and driven individual so I would love to encourage your children to do the same when it comes to school work or any other commitments they may have. Hi! My name’s Robyn. I am currently a student in Year 13 at Shiplake college studying Geography, Business, and Criminology A levels. I love interacting with children and have lots of experience as I used to babysit family friends and am now a coach at Great Marlow School Boat Club, teaching novice rowers how to row. As well as this, I completed my work experience as a teaching assistant at Great Marlow in the year 7 classes, helping kids who needed a little extra support. I used to row myself, however, I am now competing in hockey, netball, and football. As well as this I have completed my Bronze DofE where I volunteered at the local Brownies club, and am in the process of my Gold. I also spent time volunteering for the charity Sportsable, in which we helped disabled adults and children to swim, giving me lots of experience interacting with individuals with disabilities of all kinds. I hope to continue my education at university where I plan to study Classics and English Literature – hopefully at Oxford University if all goes well! I’m one of 6 children so I’ve been surrounded by kids and babies since I was born, and I have a huge family so new babies aren’t uncommon (my cousins practically pop them out on a regular basis), and because of this I’m completely comfortable taking care of and being around young children, toddlers and babies. I also have 2, 14-year-old siblings who I frequently stay home alone with and cook for and help with homework whilst my parents are at work. I’ve always lived in areas with a lot of young children as neighbours, and have babysat for my neighbours regularly, even occasionally organising birthday parties for their kids. Hi, I’m Alice! I am currently in Year 13 at Sir William Borlase, studying Maths, Economics and Biology. In my spare time, I love to play hockey and meet friends. I have had previous experience with looking after younger children through volunteering at the Marlow Hockey Club, coaching the Year 7 hockey team at my school and babysitting for family friends. I am happy to help with homework as well as joining in with activities and games. I’ve loved babysitting for Grace’s Sitters for over 2 years now and it is amazing meeting so many lovely families.

1-1Hi, I’m Pippa and I’m at the University of Bath studying Education with Psychology, with a desire to work with young people in the future. I have been part of the Grace’s Sitters team for 4 years now, giving me lots of experience and I have thoroughly looking after all of the children! I was involved in academic tutoring of younger students at school and have also been a peer mentor at university. I would be more than happy to help with homework or get involved with fun activities! I really like animals so am more than happy to look after pets too. In my spare time, I enjoy horse riding and baking! I’m really excited to meet you and further my babysitting experience.
